- Nearly all men (94%, actually)
lie about the size of their penis. Condom manufacturers
report that only 6% of men use extra large condoms.
- The average man's member isn't 8
inches or 10 inches long. It's 5 inches long. And that's
when erect.
- Only 20% of American men have a
foreskin. The rest undergo circumcision, even though
pediatricians generally agree it's unnecessary and some
say it's harmful.
- Pumps and potions don't make a
penis grow. Smoking and bad diet can cause it to shrink
or function poorly. The damage can often be reversed by
correcting that behavior, but enhancement over normal
just doesn't happen.
- It's not true that older men are
fantastically endowed, compared to their younger
counterparts. The human nose keeps growing with age, but
the penis does not. By the time a man reaches his early
20s, his penis is about as long as it will ever be.
- It is possible to lengthen the
penis with surgery or weights. But both of these methods
are merely tradeoffs that tend to make the men and their
lovers rather unhappy.
- The size of a man's hands,
fingers, feet, or nose do not indicate how large his
penis is. There is some correlation between the size of
the ring finger compared to the size of the middle
finger, but there are too many exceptions for this to be
reliable.
- The Italian stallion is a myth.
Italian men do not always have huge penises.
- The Black Sex Mo-chine is a myth,
as is the "Black Flashlight." Black men don't always
have huge penises.
- China syndrome is a myth. Chinese
penises come in all sizes, not just small.
- "Blue balls" is not a myth. When
men get aroused with no release, their testicles really
do turn blue and really do hurt. The medical term is
prostatic congestion." It relieves itself within hours,
by transferring pent-up semen to the bladder, where it
passes out in the urine. Most men don't wait. They
masturbate it away. Release is generally achieved in
less than a minute, due to the urgency.
- Men really do, in general, prefer
bald pubis and pudenda on women. Not a bikini shave, but
hairless. Men, on the other hand, prefer their own
genitalia to be "unforested." surveys show that only 16%
of men shave their pubic area.
